1. What Jinga is

Jinga is a listing and matching platform: companies post one-off service scopes and independent professionals apply with their profile and bid. The platform is not an employer, staffing agency or party to any agreement between companies and professionals.

2. What the platform does not do

• It does not set prices: the price is the professional's bid accepted by the company. Displayed ranges are informational only.
• It does not choose or assign professionals: suggestions are a search tool; companies always decide.
• It does not direct, schedule or supervise the work.
• It does not collect, hold or transfer payments for services.
• It does not require exclusivity or minimum volume and never penalizes anyone for declining or ignoring jobs.

3. Professionals

• You work independently and decide which jobs to apply for, what to charge and how to perform the service.
• You are responsible for your own taxes and business registration and for being legally authorized to work where the service is performed.
• The platform is always free for professionals. Report anyone asking you to pay to apply.

4. Companies

• Post clear, accurate and lawful scopes (deliverables, timeline, location, acceptance criteria).
• Hire and pay professionals directly, ideally under an independent contractor agreement, and comply with applicable labor, tax and worker-classification laws (including W-9/1099 requirements in the US).
• Do not use the platform to fill ongoing employee positions or charge candidates any fee.
• Use unlocked contact details only for the job at hand, in compliance with privacy and anti-discrimination laws.

5. Pricing

All features are free during the beta. Questions about future prices are for research only. Any future charge will require your explicit agreement.

6. Prohibited conduct

False information, fraud, harassment, discrimination, illegal or misleading listings, scraping and misuse of contact details. Accounts may be suspended only for violating these Terms — never for performance or for declining work.

7. Liability

The platform does not guarantee hiring, quality or payment of services, which are the sole responsibility of the parties.
